Bath for muscles and joints

Liquid Concentrate for Baths

To be used in case of rheumatic nature complaints

Composition: Pine needle oil, salicylates.

Formulation: vials of 190 mL, 1000 mL, and 10 L capacities.

Properties: It is recommended for treatment of muscle strain, locomotor apparatus, and peripheral nervous system: rheumatic pains, radiculitis, neuralgias, "articular syndrome", arthritises, joint pains, blood circulation disorders, injuries of locomotor apparatus.

Salicylates contained in the concentrate stimulate, under the impact of heat, dermal blood circulation. The heat exchange activation caused by the process makes muscles relax under muscle strain and in case of rheumatic nature complaints. Pine needles contain large number of biologically active substances with essential oil being the most important. Terpenes – borneol, pinene, limonene, etc. – are its most active components.

Pine needles are widely used in medicine as local irritant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatoty, analgetic, broncholytic, and expectorant agent. Pine needle baths are used, since olden times, to cure joint pains, rheumatism, neuralgias, rachitis, hernias, pulmonary diseases, etc. Locally, pine needle essential oil irritates skin receptors noticed by burn feeling, causes, by reflex, changes in various organs and tissues (decreasing pain, enhancing blood circulation).
Being well dissolved in lipids,  pine needle essential oil shows resorption effect: it stimulates CNS and acts as antiseptic regarding urinary tracts. Pine needle essential oil, after penetrating into one's organism by inhalation, stimulates bronchus mucociliary, intensifies bronchial secretion, makes sputum thinner thus making easier its evacuation.
