Juniper Liquid Concentrate for Baths

Against locomotor apparatus diseases

Composition: Common juniper fruit oil, its branch/fruit/leaf extract, castor oil.

Formulation: vials of 190 mL and 1000 mL capacities

Properties:  Juniper (Juníperus in Latin) is growing in Europe, Canada, and America. It prefers dry sandy soils. It belongs to the genus of evergreen coniferous bushes and trees of Cypress (Cupressaceae) family. Juniper galberries are used for preparation of drugs used for curing kidneys and urinary bladder as well as anti-inflammatory agents.

Juniper oil is used for treatment of rheumatism, polyarthritis, neuralgia, and radiculitis. Juniper shows intensive phytocide effect. It was noted that in those locations where juniper grows air is much clearer; exhausted animals attend such places in order to gain strength. Indians of North America brought their fellow tribesmen ill with bone or joint diseases into juniper thickets. In Middle Ages, people fumigated their dwellings with juniper branches in epidemic periods. Juniper essential oil shows expressed disinfection effect.

Balneal aroma therapeutic procedures are not indicated for pregnant women and sucking children.
Balneal aroma therapeutic (BAT) procedures may be used for infants after consulting a doctor only.
Instead of common aroma baths, it may be recommended for patients, depending on indications, to take half-baths, local baths, wet wiping.
The concentrate shall not be used in case of hypersensitivity to its ingredients.

Storage conditions: keep at room temperature away from children.

Juniper baths enhance blood circulation and promote skin injury healing.

It is recommended for treatment of bronchitis, coughing, and as a prophylaxis remedy in cold seasons.
Dosage: 30 mL of the liquid concentrate is diluted under the water stream in the entire bath volume.
Water temperature: 34 to 37 °C. 
Procedure duration: 10 to 20 min.

Course of treatment: 8 to 12 procedures. 

Prophylaxis course: once a week.
